Angelantonio Enriquez Breault

Angel is a naturalist, conservationist, educator & learner based out of Chuk-son or Tucson, Arizona. Sonoran Desert born and raised, Angel feels privileged to be rooted in such an ecologically and culturally diverse part of the world.

His work centers land-based education, reconciliation ecology, intersectional environmental justice, and community action and empowerment. Sense of place, the natural world, bio-cultural connection and storytelling are the concepts that guide his work in the Baja Arizona borderlands and beyond.

Angel has worked and lived throughout the Americas and Europe, directing educational programs, designing curriculum, and documenting stories for organizations such as the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, Ironwood Tree Experience, the Arizona Trail Association, the Arizona Association for Environmental Educators, Tamwood Camps International (Vancouver, Canada), Las Mulas Achibueno (Linares, Chile). Angel organizes with community initiatives such as Reconcilation en el Rio, Tucson Birthplace Open Space Coalition, and the Santa Cruz River Wildlife Coalition.

When he’s not working, Angel enjoys exploring canyons, climbing, taking photos, and sharing meals with loved ones.
